 Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last posted.

 School is taking up most of my time these days with homework and cross-country practice. 

On top of that, I've been working on writing my book as a nerdy 7th grader. However, I've hit a bit of a wall with the ending and can't seem to come up with a good one.

  "Krish!" I said in awe, staring at the black-red-haired Indian who annoyed me on the bus."What are you doing here?"  "Be quiet, I am not here because I want to be." He said nearly spitting, "The Spirit Council said that you were too powerful to waste, now would you kindly step away from the door so I can melt it?"  I stepped back not because I wanted to listen to him, but because I wanted to get out. He twisted a bead on his wrist cuff, before I could stop myself I said. "That looks exactly like my bracelet. " For a second he looked confused before steeling his face and telling me to shut up. He kneeled and then pointed his hand at the metal lock, a flash of fire as white as the walls around us broke through the bars. Temple Of The First Sun: Chapter 1

  Chapter 1 The chill ran up my spine, whirling me around to a window overflowing with summer. I shake off the nerves and turn back to the most important work of my life. I scanned my closet for what felt like the thousandth time before finally settling on a sleek black dress that hit just above my knees. I quickly grabbed a turquoise headband, a pair of navy jeans to go with it, and a puffy jacket to protect me from the frigid 20-degree weather outside.
